How to Set Up Your Leaflet Artwork
Follow these simple rules and your leaflets and flyers will print sharp and true to colour. Not sure your file is right? Send it anyway, every order includes a free artwork check.
Build to finished size
Set your document to the finished size, for example 148 × 210mm for A5, and export a print ready PDF with fonts embedded or outlined.
Use enough resolution
Use images at 300dpi at their final printed size, so photos and small text stay crisp in the hand.
Add bleed and margins
If colour runs to the edge, add 3mm bleed all round and keep text 5mm inside the trim. Bleed guide
Set colour to CMYK
Use CMYK where possible and avoid very bright RGB colours. Need a brand colour matched? Send a reference.
Bleed, trim and safe area
- Bleed, 3mm. Extend background colour and images past the edge.
- Trim line. Where your leaflet is cut to finished size.
- Safe area, 5mm. Keep text and logos inside this line.

What is the difference between a leaflet and a flyer?
The terms are often used for the same thing. Flyers are usually single sheets for quick promotions and handouts, while leaflets often carry more information, are double sided or are folded. We print both in every common size.

Silk is the most popular all round choice, gloss gives punchy colour for photography heavy designs, and uncoated has a natural feel that is easy to write on. Heavier weights from 250gsm feel more premium in the hand.
Can you print double sided leaflets?
Yes. Single and double sided printing is available on every size and stock.
Can I order several designs in one leaflet order?
Yes. Add the number of versions in the quote form and tell us the quantity of each, for example 3000 of one design and 200 each of two others.
Do you offer lamination, spot UV or foil on leaflets?
Yes. Matt, gloss and soft touch lamination, spot UV and digital foil are available on 200gsm and heavier stocks, with standard turnaround.
What file should I send for leaflet printing?
A print ready PDF at the finished size is best, with fonts embedded or outlined and images at 300dpi. Add 3mm bleed where colour runs to the edge and keep key text 5mm inside the trim.
Can you check my artwork before printing?
Yes. Every order includes a free artwork check. Send what you have and we will flag any issues before production.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum. We print leaflets from 50 upwards. Share your quantity in the quote form and we will confirm pricing and turnaround.
Can I collect my leaflets or have them delivered?
