Creating Your Page Layout
Here’s how to change the size of your document:
- Navigate to Layout > Page Setup.
- To account for the safety zone, increase all margins by 3mm.
- Navigate to Size and select your poster size.
- To account for bleed, increase the height and width by 6mm.
Including Borders
To add a border to your artwork, do the following:
- Page Borders can be found under Design > Page Borders.
- Customize your border by selecting the desired options from the Setting, Style, Color, Width, and Art menus.
- You can also change the background of your page by going to Design > Page Color.
Image Insertion and Placement
To incorporate images into your poster design, follow these steps:
Select Insert > Pictures.
Select an image from your computer and press the Insert button.
If your image is hidden behind text or other images, right-click it and choose Bring to Front > Bring Forward to fix it.
To resize the image, drag its edges.
To make text wrap around an image, right-click and select Wrap Text, then select the desired option.
